Size Guide for Falsterbotofflan®
Falsterbotofflan® generally follows standard EU sizing. If you usually wear a consistent EU shoe size, that is usually a good place to start. If you are unsure, between sizes, or ordering for a child, we recommend measuring the foot and comparing it with the table below.
How to measure your foot
Stand on a piece of paper
Place a sheet of paper against a wall on a hard floor. Stand on the paper with your heel against the wall.
Measure with full weight
Stand with your full body weight on the foot. Your foot becomes slightly longer when loaded. Mark the longest point of the foot.
Compare with the table
Measure from the wall to the mark and add around 0.5 cm. Then compare the measurement with the table below.
Size table & conversion
The table shows EU size, approximate foot measurement with around 0.5 cm extra space, and international size conversions. Falsterbotofflan® is sold in EU sizes and the fit is generally considered true to size.

International sizes are approximate, as sizing can vary between countries and brands. The EU size is the size you choose when ordering from Falsterbotofflan®.
Choose the right last
At Falsterbotofflan®, many of our hand-painted clogs are available in low, medium and high last. The last refers to the height of the leather over the instep. The wooden sole is the same for each size, but the fit over the foot changes.
Medium last
Fits most people and is our most common choice. Choose medium if you do not usually have a particularly high or low instep.
High last
Suitable if you have a high instep or often feel that shoes are tight over the top of your foot.
Low last
Suitable if you have a low instep or a narrower foot, where regular shoes can sometimes feel a little roomy over the foot.
Clog fit
Standard EU sizing
Falsterbotofflan® is generally considered true to EU size. Start with your usual size if you normally have a consistent shoe size.
Length matters most
Because the wooden sole is firm, length is especially important. Your heel should not hang over the edge of the wooden sole.
A little extra space is normal
A clog should not fit exactly like a sneaker. Around 0.5 cm extra space gives the foot better room when walking.
Wearing socks?
If you plan to wear your clogs with socks, measure your foot with the type of sock you intend to wear.
